§ 2-113. Notice of charges.

Before any officer shall be removed from office, written charges shall be preferred against him and filed with the mayor, and notice thereof served on the accused at least ten days before the hearing of the charges, except in cases of absence from the city, in which case notice may be made by publication in the official newspaper of the city for ten days.
