§ 2-114. Procedure against mayor.

  • When charges are preferred against the mayor of this city, they shall be filed with either of the councilmembers whose duty it will be to assemble the board together, and when so assembled they shall elect one of their members to preside during the investigation and for the purposes of trial. The presiding officer so elected shall perform the duties of mayor, and the trial shall proceed as provided in this division.
