§ 5.07. Canvassing elections.

The returns of all elections shall be delivered forthwith to the Mayor and City Secretary by the Election Judge. The Council shall canvass the returns and declare the results of such election in accordance with the provisions prescribed by V.T.C.A., Election Code § 67.003 and Federal election laws.
