§ 5.03. Filing for office.

Latest version.

Any qualified citizen as defined by Article [Section] 6.03 of this Charter may file for election to the Office of Mayor or Council Member. A signed application and prescribed oath shall be filed with the City Secretary in accordance with the Texas Election Code.
