§ 46-301. Conformity to city standards.

  • The water and/or sewer lines constructed under this article shall conform to the recommendations of the city engineer and director of public works, in the design, size and layout of the water distribution system. The water design shall be acceptable, without penalty, to the state fire insurance commission and shall be approved by the city engineer and the director of public works. All materials and installations for water and sewer lines shall be in accordance with the state department of health standards and the American Water Works Association standards and with the city's standards for same and shall be approved by the city engineer and the director of public works.
