§ 38-60. How numbered—Generally.

  • Commencing from the base lines, and going in any direction, the first block shall be designated the 100 block, the second block the 200 block and so on. The block lines shall fall on corresponding points on all parallel streets as far as practical and reasonable. The numbers shall begin at even 100 at each cross street, except, on unusually long blocks the new block number may start at a point on such long block to be designated. Odd numbers shall be assigned to the east and south sides of streets and even numbers shall be assigned to the west and north sides of streets.
