§ 36-69. Unlawful collection.

No person, except a duly authorized agent and employee of the city or a person hauling and transporting his own garbage, rubbish or trash, shall collect, haul, transport or empty garbage or trash receptacles or convey or transport garbage, rubbish or trash on the streets, alleys or easements of the city, except as previously provided in this division and by permit granted by the city council; provided, however, this provision does not prohibit persons or businesses with their own equipment from hauling, on a temporary basis, their own trash and debris from their own lot cleaning, construction or demolition operations in the city.
