§ 36-29. Collection by city only.

The collection and disposal of garbage and trash shall be by the city only and private or individual collection and disposal of garbage is prohibited, except as may be expressly authorized in this chapter. It shall be unlawful for any person to collect, pick up, or otherwise dispose of any garbage, trash or refuse within the city without first obtaining a written permit therefor granted by the city council.
